Data we process
- Name, work email address, company or organisation and the content of the message.
- Technical log data needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, time and browser request data.
Your language choice is stored in your browser. It is not used for advertising or added to a marketing system.
Why and on what basis
- To answer enquiries, scope a pilot and prepare a possible business relationship: steps requested before a contract and our legitimate interest in business communications.
- To prevent misuse and keep the website and form secure: our legitimate interest in information security.
- To meet legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims when necessary.
Sending the contact form does not subscribe you to marketing messages.
Sources, recipients and transfers
We receive the information from you and from the technical operation of the website. Data is available only to those who need it to handle the enquiry or maintain the service, and to hosting, email and security providers acting on our behalf. We do not sell personal data.
Cloudflare hosts the website, processes contact form submissions and sends them by email. The receiving mailbox is hosted by Suncomet.
If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, an applicable safeguard required by data protection law is used.
Retention
Enquiries are retained for no longer than 24 months after the last relevant contact. Data connected with a contract, legal obligation or dispute may be retained for the longer period required for that purpose. Technical logs are retained according to the documented retention periods of the service providers.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict its processing or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where applicable, you may also request data portability. Send a request to sales@wayless.cc. You may lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman at tietosuoja.fi.
Changes
We update this notice when the service or processing changes.
